Current Puppies
It is an exciting time for us here at Griffith Kennels right now. We have been blessed with two exceptional litters of Champion lined F1 CKC Toy/Miniature Goldendoodle puppies. This is very unusual for us because we do not breed every heat cycle, and have never had more than 3 litters in one year.
My daughter Bethany’s dog Gracie gave birth Sept. 29th to a gorgeous litter of 5 girls and 4 boys. Gracie is Bethany’s pride and joy, and she is a beautiful dog with a thick honey colored coat. She has gorgeous blonde feathering. This litter should mature to be beautiful little fluff balls. Gracie has 15 champions in her 3 generation pedigree, and received both her heart and eye clearances this spring. Gracie will be getting her hip clearances in a few months when she turns two. She weighs 71 pounds, and has a nice, square build. She is extremely intelligent and has a fun loving personality.
My Olivia has also given birth on Oct. 3rd. She had an amazing litter of 4 girls and 7 boys. Olivia is an extremely light cream color. She has beautiful light blonde feathering, and a big, beautiful blocky head. She resembles an English Retriever although I am not aware of English lines in her. She weighs 65 lbs. Olivia is a beautiful girl with a sweet and gentle spirit. She is extremely calm and loving. Olivia is OFA good on hips, and has heart and eye clearances. This is her 2nd litter, and she did produce some puppies that matured to be a very light cream color last time.
The sire to both of these beautiful litters is Cody (a.k.a. Dazzle). He is a solid white Toy Poodle with over 30 champions in his 5 generation pedigree. He has PRA eye clearances – we are working on getting the paperwork, and an amazing little personality. Cody weighs in right at 5 lbs.
Both of these litters are amazing, and we are very proud of all 3 parent dogs and all 20 puppies. All of the puppies appear to be very proportionate (no short legs), and have large, round beautifully shaped heads. Puppies will have a go home date of Nov. 24th for Gracie’s litter and Nov. 28th for Olivia’ litter.
We are offering to hold puppies until Christmas and begin crate training (if crate is purchased in advance) and potty training. This service is available for $7.00 a day. We will start charging to hold puppies on Dec. 1st. Because these guys are Toy/Miniature, they will still be small puppies at Christmas time. Christmas puppies that need to be shipped to their new homes will go home on Dec. 23rd. I held puppies to be shipped out Christmas Eve last year, and the airport was crazy. Two puppies (thankfully in the same crate – to keep each other company) were bumped off of their flight, and had to spend the night in a kennel. I don’t want to put another puppy in that stressful situation again, so we will not ship out Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. If puppies are being picked up, they can be picked up at any time during the Christmas season if prior arrangements are made. Please contact me if you would like to reserve a puppy. Thanks - Robin
Because we are working with so many puppies this time around, Bethany has made a youtube video of puppy pictures. If you would like to view the puppies, please check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzVHNyeUVM8
